Embracing Spiritual Rebellion
The word "Kafirun" is the plural of "kafir", which translates to infidel, disbeliever, or those who reject common norms. In a religious context, it refers to individuals who do not live according to the teachings of Allah and often face condemnation for failing to submit to His will.
A key teaching in the Islamic faith is that a disciple must accept the master's word as the ultimate truth and live a life devoid of personal will, with the ultimate goal of returning to the Creator, the source of all creation, to become nothing. This concept is prevalent across all Abrahamic religions.
For us, "Kafirun" symbolizes the idea of "I have my own path." This aligns with the teachings of the left-hand path and occult philosophy, where we refuse to submit and reject the notion of becoming nothing. We choose a solitary journey of individualism, risking everything to seek our own way and nurture our own flame. As outsiders in a mundane world, we embrace our status as the banished.
"Kafirun" represents our spiritual rebellion and inner chaos, a testament to our quest to become who we choose to be. We engage in a continuous battle to create our own worlds, striving to become gods in our own right or facing the possibility of failing in our pursuits, where the void of death consumes our flesh and the gods may steal our spiritual flame once again.
